PEOPLE & ACCESS

Committee roles

Give each person the access they need. A person can hold several roles at this conference.

The organisation owner keeps control. Track limits apply to scientific work. Authors and presenters cannot review or decide their own submissions, even when they hold a committee role.

Who has access

Sample organiser · demo-owner@example.test · Organisation owner

No committee roles assigned yet.

Reviewer assignments and authors’ own submissions are separate. An honorary title or Reviewer role does not grant access to other submissions or confidential reviews.

1. Create a role

Choose a suggested role or define a custom title and permissions. New roles start with no assigned members.

For example, Proceedings secretary. Preset roles use their own name.
Custom role permissions
Used only for a custom role. Leave empty for an honorary title with no management access.

2. Assign a role

Enter the member’s existing account email. Assign another role to the same person whenever needed.

Use an existing verified or pilot-approved account. This action does not send an email.
Limit to tracks
Leave all unchecked for the whole event. Track limits are available for scientific and submission roles; operational roles need the whole event.

Roles available at this event

Create your first role above. Presets include conference chair, scientific chair, track chair, committee member, convenor and secretary.

To change a role’s permissions, create a new role and reassign its members. This keeps permission changes explicit.
